Problem

Over 100 billion cigarettes in India, but less than 5% properly disposed and less than 1% recycled. Microplastic cigarette waste poses a threat to the environment, water resources, and wildlife, highlighting a hazard beyond the health risks of smoking.

Solution

While we can't stop 12% of the Indian adult population from smoking, at BuffIndia, we aim to positively impact the environment by transforming their cigarette waste into artistic gift articles, preventing littering and environmental pollution.
